Level One Moves
Level One Props
Level One ETC
Level Two Beauty Parlour
Level Two Stage Prep
Level Two Choreography
Level Three and Beyond:
Building an Act
*A note about the choreography classes:
Students will take multiple choreography classes because those classes offer opportunities to perform publicly. There is no automatic advancement to the professional performer level. Professional performing opportunities are offered by invitation to those students who have solid attendance, show drive and dedication, who are reliable, have reached an advanced level of classes, appear ready for the stage and only IF there are openings.
These invitations are also on a project by project basis and invitations are dependent on the casting needs of the piece.
Burlesque is a rewarding but also an expensive hobby. Once you reach a performing level it also takes up your personal time. It certainly isn't for everyone so if you have more fun in the less intensive classes, you should consider staying in those levels.
